Wet timing belts are used by a couple of carmakers – Ford and PSA (now
Stellantis). They officially have long service change times, but more recently
those renewal mileages have been reduced because some timing belts are failing
earlier than intended. For those that own a vehicle with a wet belt system, the
advice is to renew the belt(s) before the recommended schedule. Follow us as we
